IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR EVERYONE receiving benefits from PEBA:

Beginning January 1, 2026, CVS Caremark will be the pharmacy benefits manager for the State Health Plan. All subscribers, including those who are eligible for Medicare, will receive a new prescription benefits ID card before December 31, 2025.

To ensure you receive your ID card, log in to MyBenefits to review and update your address on file with PEBA before Monday, September 15.

Since major changes to Benefits for members of the South Carolina Retirement Systems originates in our South Carolina Legislature, we like to keep up with their activities.

Our South Carolina Legislature has adjourned until January 2026.
